Remuneration
I would very much like some – as it is no fun being unemployed – so if you’re interested in employing me, post a comment here with some proof of ID and/or bona fides; and I will email you a brief CV (i.e. both pages of it).
A blog on the politics and psychology underlying the denial of all our environmental problems

Come to Australia, mate …. 170,000 open positions for scientists like you, you’d make it in no problem, give it a go, come to what is now acknowledged to be the greatest country on Earth … no problems, lots of sunshine, plenty of girls in bikinis and more money in your pocket than a World Bank

Cheers Donald. I have often considered it (in fact I still do). I am even in touch with a recruitment consultant in Sydney who, whilst confirming the existence of many consultancy jobs, was disappointed I had changed direction (because there is not the same demand for AGW campaigners)…

Hi, I said I’d have a look at your Blog and, yes, you should get into writing as the blog is both funny and informative, Jude.

Thanks Judith. Although it was not-exactly a conventional speculative employment enquiry, I did track down the email addresses for the Editors of the Daily Express, Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph yesterday. I shall post it on this Blog at the end of the week. However, for now, it was unconventional because it did not actually ask for a job; but should hopefully have got – and held – their attention long enough for them to get to the end….

Hi Martin, don’t you think that your rants on your own blog and on others such as Professor Judith Curry’s “Lindzen’s Seminar at the House of Commons” thread (http://judithcurry.com/2012/02/27/lindzens-seminar-at-the-house-of-commons/) and making an exhibition of yourself in the House of Comments meeting (from 05:27 minutes will deter potential employers?
I’ve put my transcript of that Q&A session on my “Professor Richard Lindzen at the Palace of Westminster” thread (http://globalpoliticalshenanigans.blogspot.com/2012/03/professor-richard-lindzen-at-palace-of.html).

Peter, I am astonished that you dare come here and pretend to be polite and/or that you are in any way interested in my welfare and/or job prospects. Your treatment of me on Judith Curry’s blog is beneath contempt: I would never dare to go trawling around on the Internet as you did; solely to discredit the person whose arguments I could not falsify. In my view, you lost the argument right there.
As I have said to Barry, I do not need – nor have I any wish to receive – careers advice from people who are intent on pursuing policies that will ensure that global warming is maximised. In this respect, the GWPF is very aptly named. Given that my current career aim is to de-rail climate change denial, I probably won’t be of interest to most employers but, those whom I would like to work for will probably be very interested indeed.
Nevertheless, I am grateful for the transcript, which is a useful adjunct to the video (I guess it was too much to hope that you would post it at Lindzengate – an update report; so maybe I will instead).
Your hypocrisy is truly shameful.

Hi Martin, I’m happy for you to copy my transcript, but please give the appropriate credit and provide a link to the source. I’m sure that you wouldn’t want to pretend it was your own work.
Best regards, Pete Ridley

Absolutely not. Actually, all I was going to do was link to it here, from where Fay kindly inserted the incriminating video. Unlike you, I don’t have to fabricate evidence.

By not working, you will not be traveling around by car, plane, etc.. Couldn’t you sell some carbon credits?

As I said, your defecating all over this blog with attempts to make me feel guilty, merely draw attention to the fact that you have no justifiable excuse for dismissing the views of the vast majority of relevantly-qualified experts – other than those that boil-down to conspiracy theory and/or an erroneous reliance upon the marketplace of ideas.
